We service customers in Waterloo Region and Greater Southwestern Ontario geographic area.

Warranty Repair Tech for Icon Canada and Johnson Health Tech Co Ltd for a greater part of South-Western Ontario Region

  • Icon Canada – retails their brands online direct, and in Canada Primarily through the following retailers:

Equipment Assembly & Setup

New out of the box or used equipment

Packaged equipment is located in space where it is to be setup:

  • Un-package
  • Assemble
  • Customer tests equipment to their satisfaction that its functioning properly
  • Breakdown packaging as per customers instructions
  • SPECIAL NOTE: Customer is responsible for discarding the packaging to the curb

 

Packaged equipment is located in a garage where it was delivered (additional costs apply – extra man required – customer assist option exists to reduce additional charges):

  • Move the packaged equipment inside the home to setup location
  • Un-package
  • Assemble
  • Customer tests equipment to their satisfaction that its functioning properly
  • Breakdown packaging as per customers instructions
  • SPECIAL NOTE: Customer is responsible for discarding the packaging to the curb

Equipment relocation services – disassemble, transport and re-assembled in new location

  • Popular service when moving households
  • When you purchase a used piece of equipment – item needs to be dis-assembled, picked up and delivered to new location and re-assembled
  • Or simply when moving equipment from within the home

Most equipment becomes damaged during disassembly / assembly process that is why you should use a professional to do this work.

Trouble Shooting Diagnosis Service

  • Ideal for the customer who is handy enough to fix the unit, but just doesn’t have the technical knowledge in order to pin point what the problem is
  • Service includes onsite diagnostics to determine the problem and solution, as well as one on one instruction/tutorial as to how to repair the problem or replace required part
  • Additional telephone support following the service call if required

Inspection, Tune-Up, & Overall Maintenance Service

  • Overall inspection of the piece of equipment
  • Tighten all nuts and bolts used in the assembly process
  • Lubricate all steel on steel contact points
  • Tighten, align, adjust walking belt ( applies to treadmills only)
  • Adjust drive belt from motor to front roller, or drive axle
  • Lubricate walking belt ( applies to treadmills only)
  • Vacuum motor, and all areas under the shroud where dust and debris collects
  • Lubricate front and rear rollers ( applies to treadmills only)

We also offer a Labour/Maintenance Warranty Package

Retail Store – Display Floor Model Setup Services

Professional setup of all in store floor display models

 The floor display models are the retail stores first impression and front line sales opportunity with the consumer. It is imperative that the display units are properly assembled, and functioning correctly in order to enhance the consumer’s interest in the product towards the final sale process, and further invite communication with the store’s sales staff.

Improper assembly of floor model display units may result compromising the functionality of the item and therefore resulting in loss of the customer’s interest and confidence in the quality, performance of the product line, brand, or product category being offered by that particular retailer altogether. High ticket item sales are hard to come by, infrequent, competitive, and should never be compromised as a result of the retailers display models.

After the sale support services – extended to purchasing customers

 In many cases when customers purchase larger, bulky items requiring setup, they may look to the retailer to refer them to a full service provider to assist them with pickup, delivery, and setup services at the destination address. As a result, Fixco will be marketing a broad spectrum of services direct to the customer to fulfill their specific needs and requirements with their purchase.

  • Full service, complete pickup and delivery to the home or destination address as instructed by customer, carry to point final rest and assemble equipment or item
  • When item is already on location, carry into residence and assemble
  • Assemble only

This service will not be restricted to exercise equipment only. We will provide these support services for any such items that fall within the lines of what has been described above.

Order-Point Support Services

With the advent of online exclusive retailers as well as brick and mortar retailers looking to increase their sales of big ticket large household items, the need has arisen for local and regional support services to assist in relocation, assembly, and or installation of these items after delivery has taken place.

(Examples:  Amazon, Walmart, Target, Sears)

  • In most cases when merchandise is purchased online from these types of retailers, freight forwarders and  transport companies only delivery these items into the garage, or front door of the residential address, or front lobby of an apartment complex

Our order-point support services will include a selection of service options for the customer based on their specific needs and requirement subject to the type of item purchased.

  • Fixco can quote and supply the part only, or supply and install
  • We can also source used, refurbished, or after-market parts on a supply only or supply and install basis.

Exercise Reclamation Service 

(scrap-it)

  • In cases where you have exercise equipment that is no longer repairable, or not cost effective to do so, we offer a FREE pick it service
  • This service is subject to the type of equipment, and Fixco reserves the right to decline to offer this service if your equipment is deemed outside of the type of equipment that we have use for.

After Warranty Repairs and Service To All Makes and Brands

Fixco is the preferred and referred warranty service provider for Icon Canada and Johnson Health Tech fitness products after the warranty period has expired.

We have the technical knowledge and expertise to service and repair all makes and models of exercise equipment, regardless of the Brand, Make or Model. All repairs are subject to parts availability. In cases where required replacement parts are not available for your particular model of equipment, may unfortunately result in your equipment being deemed irreparable.
